hPSC-derived Cardiomyocytes

Human primary cardiomyocytes and cardiac tissue are invaluable for heart disease studies, drug discovery, and toxicity testing, often surpassing animal models or immortalized cell lines in relevance. However, obtaining adult human primary cardiomyocytes is challenging due to limited tissue availability, and they typically do not proliferate in culture.

 

ScienCell addresses this by offering HPSC-derived Cardiomyocytes (H9-CM, Cat. No. 6250), which provides an alternative supply of cardiomyocytes for various studies. These cells are differentiated from pluripotent stem cell line (H9). They are developed under serum-free and feeder-free conditions at high efficiency, then enriched for contracting cells.

CSM consists of 500 mL basal medium and 10 mL of 50X Cardiomyocyte Selective Growth Supplement (CSGS, Cat. No. 5962).
