Inorganic Pyrophosphatase (E. coli)
Inorganic pyrophosphatase (PPase) catalyzes the hydrolysis of inorganic pyrophosphate to form orthophosphate. PPase catalyzed reaction is Mg2+-dependent. PPase is used for in vitro transcription (IVT) to increase RNA synthesis yield by removing the inhibitory PPi.
