Astrocyte Medium-animal (AM-a) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of FBS (Cat. #0010), 5 ml of Astrocyte Growth Supplement-animal (AGS-a, Cat. #1882) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0503).

Smooth Muscle Cell Medium (SMCM) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of FBS (Cat. #0010), 5 ml of Smooth Muscle Cell Growth Supplement (SMCGS, Cat. #1152) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0503). Note: FBS, SMCGS and P/S are not pre-mixed in SMCM; they must be added separately to make the complete SMCM.
