Chondrocyte Growth Supplement (CGS) is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Chondrocyte Growth Supplement (CGS) is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal chondrocytes. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced environment that selectively supports the growth of normal chondrocytes in vitro.
For best results, use CGS in conjunction with 500 ml Chondrocyte Medium-b (CM-b, Cat #4651-b) and 25 ml fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat #0025).
