Recombinant Human OTUB1
Recombinant Human OTUB1 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that selectively cleaves Lys48-linked polyubiquitin chains to regulate protein stability and cellular protein homeostasis.
Recombinant Human OTUB1 is a highly specific deubiquitinating enzyme that preferentially hydrolyzes Lys48-linked polyubiquitin chains, thereby preventing ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation and regulating protein stability. Unlike many deubiquitinases, OTUB1 exhibits strong selectivity for Lys48-linked ubiquitin chains while displaying minimal activity toward Lys63-linked chains and only weak deneddylase activity against NEDD8-conjugated substrates. Through its ability to modulate protein ubiquitination, OTUB1 plays critical roles in maintaining cellular protein homeostasis and regulating diverse biological processes, including DNA damage repair, immune signaling, and cell cycle progression.
