Astrocyte Medium (AM) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat. No. 0010), 5 ml of astrocyte growth supplement (AGS, Cat. No. 1852) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. No. 0503).

Endothelial Cell Medium (ECM) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 25 ml of FBS (Cat. #0025), 5 ml of Endothelial Cell Growth Supplement (ECGS, Cat. #1052) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0503). Note: FBS, ECGS and P/S are not pre-mixed in ECM; they must be added separately to make the complete ECM.

Fibroblast Medium (FM) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat. No. 0010), 5 ml of fibroblast growth supplement (FGS, Cat. No. 2352), and 5 ml of Antibiotic solution (P/S, Cat. No. 0503).

Product is stable for at least 6 months from the date of receipt when stored at 2 - 8° C and is stable for at least 2 years at -20° C from the date of manufacture. Keep sterile.

Caution: If handled improperly, some components of this product may present a health hazard. Take appropriate precautions when handling this product, including the wearing of protective clothing and eyewear. Dispose of properly.

Human Astrocytes (HA) are isolated from human brain (cerebral cortex). Cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Please select the desired cell density below.

0.05% Trypsin/EDTA is used to detach adherent cells from a culture surface. T/E is for research use only.  It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.

PM consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of FBS (Cat. #0010), 5 ml of Pericyte Growth Supplement (PGS, Cat. #1252) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0503). Note: FBS, PGS and P/S are not pre-mixed in PM; they must be added separately to make the complete PM.

Epithelial Cell Medium (EpiCM) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of FBS (Cat. #0010), 5 ml of Epithelial Cell Growth Supplement (EpiCGS, Cat. #4152) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0503).

Trypsin Neutralization Solution (TNS) is used to neutralize the effects of Trypsin/EDTA solution (Cat. No. 0103) after the release of cells from a culture surface. It is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.

Smooth Muscle Cell Medium (SMCM) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 ml of FBS (Cat. #0010), 5 ml of Smooth Muscle Cell Growth Supplement (SMCGS, Cat. #1152) and 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0503). Note: FBS, SMCGS and P/S are not pre-mixed in SMCM; they must be added separately to make the complete SMCM.
