Pulmonary Cell System

Pulmonary Cell System

The pulmonary cell system mediates the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the organism and its’ environment. Endothelial cells, epithelial cells, smooth muscle cells, and fibroblasts are essential components required for the normal function of the respiratory system. Abnormal cell proliferation and regulation within the pulmonary cell system contributes to the development of pathological disorders such as chronic obstructive lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease, asthma, edema, and lung cancer. We offer 13 types of normal human primary cells in the pulmonary cell system.
