Macrophage Growth Supplement
Macrophage Growth Supplement (MaGS) is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Microglia Growth Supplement (MGS) is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal microglia. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced environment that selectively supports the growth of normal microglia in vitro.
For best results, use MaGS in conjunction with 500 ml Macrophage Medium-b (MaM-b, Cat #1921-b) and 25 ml fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat #0025).
