GeneQuery™ Human Small Cell Lung Cancer qPCR Array Kit
This kit is designed to facilitate gene expression profiling of 88 key genes involved in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) carcinogenesis. SCLC accounts for approximately 10-20% of all lung cancers.
ScienCell's GeneQuery™ Human Small Cell Lung Cancer qPCR Array Kit (GQH-SLC) is designed to facilitate gene expression profiling of 88 key genes involved in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) carcinogenesis. SCLC accounts for approximately 10-20% of all lung cancers. Compared to non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), SCLC usually grows and metastasizes more rapidly. Brief examples of how included genes may be grouped according to their functions are shown below:
- Oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes: MYC, RARB, FHIT, TP53, PTEN
- Cell cycle regulation and apoptosis: CDK2, CDK4, CDK6, CCND1, CCNE2, E2F2, CASP9
- PI3K/AKT pathway: PI3Ks, AKT1, AKT2
- IKK/NFKB pathway: NFKB1, CHUK, IKBKB
- Genes implicated in small cell lung cancer: ABCB1, CSF3, CXCR2, ENO2, HTATIP2, NMB, RCVRN, SST
GeneQuery™ qPCR array kits are qPCR ready in a 96-well plate format, with each well containing one primer set that can specifically recognize and efficiently amplify a target gene's cDNA. The carefully designed primers ensure that: (i) the optimal annealing temperature in qPCR analysis is 65°C (with 2 mM Mg2+, and no DMSO); (ii) the primer set recognizes all known transcript variants of target gene, unless otherwise indicated; and (iii) only one gene is amplified. Each primer set has been validated by qPCR with melt curve analysis, and gel electrophoresis.
