3D-Trabecular Meshwork Spheroid Medium
3D-TMSpM consists of 200 ml of basal medium. 20 mL of FBS (Cat. #0010 x 2) and 2 mL penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0583). Note: FBS, and P/S are not pre-mixed in the 3D-TMSpM; they must be added separately to make the complete medium.

3D-Trabecular Meshwork Spheroid Medium (3D-TMSpM) is a specialized medium designed for the generation and maintenance of spheroids consisting of human trabecular meshwork cells in vitro in conjunction with fetal bovine serum (FBS). 3D-TMSpM is a sterile, viscous medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, and trace minerals. The medium does not contain antimycotics, antibiotics, hormones, growth factors or proteins. The medium is bicarbonate buffered and has a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5% CO2/95% air.
