Skeletal Muscle Cell Growth Supplement (SkMCGS) is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal skeletal muscle cells. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced environment that selectively supports the growth of normal skeletal muscle cells in vitro.
For best results, use SkMCGS in conjunction with 500 ml Skeletal Muscle Cell Medium-b (SkMCM-b, Cat #3501-b) and 25 ml fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat #0025).
