Oligodendrocyte Growth Supplement (OGS) is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal oligodendrocytes. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced environment that selectively supports the growth of normal oligodendrocytes in vitro.
For best results, use OGS in conjunction with 500 ml Oligodendrocyte Medium-b (OM-b, Cat #1621-b) and 2 ml fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat #0002).
