Fibroblast Growth Supplement-2 (FGS-2) is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Fibroblast Growth Supplement-2 (FGS-2) is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal fibroblasts. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced environment that selectively supports the growth of normal fibroblasts in vitro.
For best results, use FGS-2 in conjunction with 500 ml Fibroblast Medium-2-b (FM-2-b, Cat #2331-b) and 25 ml fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat #0025).
