3D-Hepatic Stellate-Endothelial Cell Spheroid Medium
3D-SECSpM consists of 200 ml of basal medium, 4 mL of 3D-sinusoidal endothelial cell spheroid supplement (3D-SECSpS, Cat. #3D-5452) and 2 mL penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. #0583). Note: 3D-SECSpS and P/S are not pre-mixed in the 3D-SECSpM; they must be added separately to make the complete medium.
3D-Hepatic Stellate-Endothelial Cell Spheroid Medium (3D-SECSpM) is a specialized medium designed for the generation and maintenance of spheroids consisting of human primary hepatic stellate cells and sinusoidal endothelial cells in vitro in conjunction with 3D-sinusoidal endothelial cell spheroid supplement (3D-SECSpS, Cat. #3D-5452). 3D-SECSpM is a sterile, viscous medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, and trace minerals. The medium is bicarbonate buffered and has a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5% CO2/95% air.
