Recombinant Human Interferon-gamma

Interferon-gamma (γ) is a multifunctional cytokine which is secreted primarily by activated NK cells and T cells. γ exerts a wide range of immunoregulatory activities and is considered to be the prototype proinflammatory cytokine. Originally characterized based on anti-viral activities, γ also exerts anti-proliferative, immunoregulatory, and proinflammatory activities. γ can upregulate MHC class I and II antigen expression by antigen-presenting cells.
