大鼠肝巨噬细胞(RHMa)分离自出生后第 2 天或第 8 天的大鼠肝脏组织。RHMa 于第 0 代(P0)进行冻存,并以冻存状态交付。每支冻存管含 >1 x 106 个细胞,总体积为 1 mL。
Macrophages are cells differentiated from circulating bone marrow-derived monocytes. Their main function is to remove cellular debris and invading pathogens. Hepatic macrophages, which are also known as Kupffer cells, reside within the lumen of liver sinusoids. Hepatic macrophages protect the liver by responding to pathogens and metastatic cells, whilst tolerating harmless self and foreign antigens, which enter via blood flow through portal vein and hepatic artery. Recent studies have shown that hepatic macrophages play an important role in fibrosis, liver inflammation, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver disease, liver transplantation and more. Macrophages isolated from fresh rat liver tissue serve as an excellent model for studying their functions under normal physiological and pathological conditions.
RHMa from ScienCell Research Laboratories are isolated from postnatal day 2 or postnatal day 8 rat liver. RHMa are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. Each vial contains > 1 x 106 cells in 1 ml volume. RHMa are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody to F4/80. RHMa are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. RHMa is guaranteed to further culture in the condition provided by ScienCell Research Laboratories; however, RHMa are not recommended for expanding or long-term cultures since the cells do not proliferate in regular culture.

It is recommended to use Macrophage Medium (MaM, Cat. #1921) for culturing RHMa in vitro.
巨噬细胞是由骨髓来源的循环单核细胞分化而来的免疫细胞,其主要功能是清除细胞碎片和侵入机体的病原体。肝巨噬细胞(Hepatic Macrophages),又称库普弗细胞(Kupffer Cells),主要分布于肝窦腔内。肝巨噬细胞能够通过识别和应对病原体及转移性肿瘤细胞来保护肝脏,同时对经门静脉和肝动脉血流进入肝脏的自身抗原及无害外源抗原保持免疫耐受。近年来研究表明,肝巨噬细胞在肝纤维化、肝脏炎症、酒精性肝病、脂肪性肝病、肝移植等多种生理和病理过程中发挥重要作用。从新鲜大鼠肝组织中分离获得的巨噬细胞是研究其在正常生理及病理状态下功能的重要体外模型。
ScienCell Research Laboratories 的大鼠肝巨噬细胞(RHMa)分离自出生后第 2 天或第 8 天的大鼠肝脏组织。RHMa 于第 0 代(P0)进行冻存,并以冻存状态交付。每支冻存管含 >1 x 106 个细胞,总体积为 1 mL。RHMa 经 F4/80 特异性抗体免疫荧光染色鉴定。RHMa 经检测不含支原体、细菌、酵母和真菌污染。ScienCell Research Laboratories 保证 RHMa 在推荐培养条件下可正常培养;但由于该细胞在常规培养条件下不具备增殖能力,因此不建议用于细胞扩增或长期培养。
推荐培养基:
建议使用巨噬细胞培养基(Macrophage Medium,MaM,产品编号:1921)进行 RHMa 的体外培养。
