MEM with Earle's Salts and L-Glutamine

Minimum Essential Medium with Earle’s Salts and L-Glutamine (MEM) is a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) that contains higher concentrations of amino acids to more closely resemble mammalian cell composition. Supplementation of non-essential amino acids to the formulations that incorporate either Earle’s, Hank’s or Eagle’s salts has broadened the usefulness of this medium. Cat#09011 contains 2mM L-glutamine, sodium phosphate monobasic, and sodium bicarbonate.
