ScienCell's GeneQuery™ Human Inflammation Signaling and Response qPCR Array Kit (GQH-INF) surveys 88 key genes involved in the inflammatory response during wound healing. Acute inflammation is one of the first immune responses to harmful stimuli and involves a complex network of signal transduction mediators. When the immune system triggers an inflammatory response despite the lack of harmful stimuli, chronic inflammation can occur leading to diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, hay fever, allergies, and sarcoidosis. Brief examples of how included genes may be categorized are shown below:

• Pattern recognition receptors: CRP, SFTPD, TIRAP, TLR2, TLR4
• Cytokine production: INS, NFAM1, NOX5, S100B, TLR6
• Cytokine metabolism: APOA2, CD4, CD86, TLR1, TLR3
• Signal transduction elements: CAST, HRH1, PROCR, RIPK2, SERPINA1, SYK
• Transcription factors: CEBPB, FOS, IRF4, IRF7, NR3C1

GeneQuery™ qPCR array kits are qPCR ready in a 96-well plate format, with each well containing one primer set that recognizes and efficiently amplifies a specific target gene's cDNA. The carefully designed primers ensure that: (i) the optimal annealing temperature in qPCR analysis is 65°C (with 2 mM Mg²⁺ and no DMSO); (ii) the primer set recognizes all known transcript variants of the target gene, unless otherwise noted; and (iii) only one gene is amplified. Each primer set has been validated by qPCR with melt curve analysis and gel electrophoresis.
