Melanocyte Growth Supplement (MelGS) is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Melanocyte Growth Supplement (MelGS) is a sterile, concentrated (100X) solution which contains growth factors, hormones, and proteins necessary for the culture of normal melanocytes. The supplement is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced environment that selectively supports the growth of normal melanocytes in vitro.
For best results, use MelGS in conjunction with 500 ml Melanocyte Medium-b (MelM-b, Cat #2201-b) and 2.5 ml fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat #0002).
