Scientists have characterized hundreds of neuron types based on location, morphology and gene expression. In general, there are three main types of neurons: motor neurons, sensory neurons, and interneurons. Despite great variability in size and shape, most neurons share common morphological features including a cell body, dendrites, the axon, and the axon terminals.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Researchers at Nanjing University,\u00a0Jiangsu University\u00a0and\u00a0Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine used ScienCell&#8217;s Rat Hippocampal Neurons\u00a0in their research on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/srep20853\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>neuroprotection by polynitrogen manganese complexes: regulation of ROS-related pathway<\/em>s<\/a>.
